COVID-19 Remote and Free Resources

COVID-19 Library Resources and Information

Journals, eBook, and Videos

The library's electronic resources remain available to all students, faculty and staff. Anyone having trouble accessing electronic resources should reach out to support@williamjames.edu for help.

If there are books, journals, or other electronic content that you'd like made available to your students, please contact Julia Clement to enquire about purchasing.

Please see the list of free additional resources using the menus to the left.

Psychological Assessments

The library's physical collection of testing materials is unaccessible while the building is closed. We ask that faculty consider postponing testing assignments that require students to come to campus. Please contact Julia Clement to discuss the availability of online assessment.

Research and Reference Services

Library staff are available via email, telephone, and Zoom to provide research and reference support. Please email library@williamjames.edu or call 617-564-9405 for help.

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary loan requests for article copies only will be processed as normal. Delays may occur due to library closings across the country. Requests for loans and chapter copies will be canceled until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience at this time.

Course Reserves and Copyright

A group of leading academic copyright librarians have drafted guidelines for librarians and faculty to help with online and distance learning during the COVID-19 crisis. If you have questions about how to assign materials to your students or what steps you can take to legally provide content, please read Public Statement of Library Copyright Specialists: Fair Use & Emergency Remote Teaching & Research and contact Julia Clement for consultation.
