Electronic resources include databases, journals, eBooks, and dissertations. Alumni may access most of the library's electronic resources for up to 12 months after graduation. After 12 months, alumni no longer have remote, off-campus access.
All alumni may access electronic resources onsite using the computers located in the library. Please note, printing is not available. Bring a photo ID to the library desk for help logging into public access computers.
The Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing (PEP) database is only available to current students, staff, and faculty.
Interlibrary loan services are not provided for alumni.
Alumni may request borrowing privileges at the library desk or by calling the library. Books are loaned out for 21 days and renewals are allowed on eligible items. Books on reserve may be used for 2 hours and cannot be taken from the building.
Alumni wishing to examine testing materials at the library should contact the library in advance to make an appointment. Per licensing agreements with our psychological assessment vendors, alumni are not allowed to check out testing materials.
The library offers limited reference and research assistance. We may refer you to other libraries or services if we are unable to help, or if we are unable to allocate enough time to fully meet your needs.
If you live in Massachusetts you are eligible for a borrowing card at your local public library which will give you remote access to databases available through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners site. If you do not live in Massachusetts consult your local public library for information about accessing databases.
Printing, scanning and faxing services are not available to alumni.
